John Kessler

John L. Kessler graduated from The University of Iowa in 1981 with a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering and has worked a wide range of engineering, operations, research & development, and business roles within DuPont ever since. John also earned a subsequent Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina in 1985 and a Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of Delaware in 1998. John’s current position is the Global Engineering and Design Competency Manager at DuPont's Wilmington, Delaware offices. John is in charge of providing and developing the engineering resources that are used to safely deliver engineering facilities and solutions that create and sustain competitive supply chains for DuPont anywhere in the world. DuPont operates in approximately 80 countries and offers a wide range of innovative products and services for the agriculture, nutrition, electronics, communications, safety and protection, construction, transportation, and apparel industries. John’s background with DuPont also includes extensive working experience in Asia for 9 years on several business-critical projects. John and his wife make their home in Wilmington, Delaware and have two grown daughters who have graduated from University of Iowa medical programs. Finally, John is a registered professional engineer and a lifelong member of AICHE.
